How to use WrenchRep

A quick guide, whether you're looking for a mechanic or you are one.

Browsing without an account

You don't need an account to look around. Search by name, specialty, vehicle type, city, state, or ZIP — filter by mobile or shop, sort by rating, reviews, or distance, and view any mechanic's full profile, free, no sign-up required.

Creating an account

1
Tap Account in the top right, or you'll be prompted the first time you try to leave a review.
2
Choose "Sign Up," then "Customer."
3
Pick Email or Phone. If email, you'll get a link and a 6-digit code — the code lets you log in on a different device than the one you checked your email on.
4
You're in — no password, ever.

Setting your name

Required the first time you leave a review — but it's your call whether it's shown. In Account settings, choose Private (your reviews stay anonymous, always) or Public (your name shows next to reviews you leave). Private is the default.

Leaving a verified review

1
Go to the mechanic's profile or tap "Leave a review."
2
Choose "I have a ticket code."
3
Type the code the mechanic gave you, or scan the QR code they show you.
4
Rate it, add tags and a comment if you want, and submit.

Leaving an unverified review

Didn't get a ticket? Choose "I don't have a code" instead, search for the mechanic by name, and leave your review as normal. It'll be labeled "Unverified" and won't affect their star rating, but it still gets your feedback out there.

Finding mechanics you've used before

Tap My mechanics to see everyone you've reviewed, how many times, and edit or delete any of your own reviews.
